Islands of Adventure Through My Eyes...

It's been literally almost a decade since we've been to Universal Studios, and right in our back yard!  Want to know the reason?  I don't do theme parks.  I don't do rides.  I get sick.  Because we had a  guest in from out of state, I was a trooper.  I really had to sacrifice.  I took pictures all day.  Poor me!

We ended up at the Islands of Adventure park.  Tickets had been bought ahead of time.  Yea - we'll get right in!  NOT.  We still had to stand in line with everyone else so that they could verify our residency.  I'm not sure why they don't let residents do that by the ticket taker.

 Besides the very uncomfortable heat during the first half of the day (it got cloudy with the threat of our usual summer storms, but it missed the park), it turned out to be a good time.
